A New Era

The Republic of New York is undergoing a name change. This is largely due to the TDC Empire merging with the Republic of New York. Many citizens of the newly created Treskan Autonomy called upon a vote to change the nation's name and its flag. The vote lasted around 1 week and it ended up passing. The name that won the vote was the New York Federation, followed closely by Northeastern Federation. Many people also want the National Flag changed, however, the votes ended in a stalemate for over 1 week. A final vote will be made likely by next week. The transition will take several days to complete. The nation has now entered a new era.
