New York Federation

The New York Federation, more commonly known as the NYF (Noumea York Federacion), is a Micronation located in Michigan with several counties and territories throughout the Midwest, and Northeast US. Founded as an illiberal democracy in Downstate, New York, New York declared independence from the United States on September 18, 2022. The religion of the New York Federation is officially secular with state religion. 
The New York Federation is the successor state of the previous Independent Republic of New York. New York's early history involved instability and a series of attempted coup attempts. The nation started growing rapidly around November of 2022 increasing in population and gaining many new territories. 
The mainland region of Monticello is New York's most populated region consisting of over 40% of the population. New York consists of eight counties, three territories, and one autonomous region all situated across North America. The Government of New York is described as a republic-democracy. New York's President is Nafe A, gaining power when the nation was formed. The legislature of New York is the New York Federation Congress, which is an unicameral legislature consisting of two chambers.
