OF NEW YORK

COAT OF ARMS OF NEW YORK

This flag is designed to represent the Republic in its entirety. The blue color symbolizes our coastline, lakes, rivers, and our history. The maple leaves represent nature in the New York Federation, such as the maple trees prevalent throughout our nation. The white symbolizes the snow and unity among the nation's people from one corner to another. The black fleur-de-lis symbolizes both hard work and our French culture.

The blue represents the lakes, rivers, and oceans of the New York Federation. The white represents self determination and the will of the people to fight for our independence. The red represents the maple trees of the New York Federation found across Michigan, New York, etc. The silver torch represents liberty and freedom for all New Yorkers
